Answering Atheists #2

This one is going to tackle a question that is asked a lot to ‘Christians’ (term used loosely) about the existence of God. I’ve seen it multiple times and in a few different forms.

The various forms look like this:

Form 1- ‘ If there is a God then why do bad things happen?’ this one is a generality.

Form 2- ‘If there is a God why doesn’t he stop molesting and rape and murder etc…’ this one is a fill-in-the- blank version. Recently I had a guy fill in the blank with ‘ bone cancer in children’

Usually, form 2 is personal and so it will look like this ‘ if God is real why didn’t he stop me from getting molested?’ etc…

I don’t like these types of questions because it brings up the harsh reality that these things go on…on a daily basis. I can’t imagine what the Lord has seen as a whole from mankind when considering everything from Genesis 3,6,9,13 Judges 19 etc…all the way up to the rape of Nanking, the Nazi SS human medical tests, the Catholic Church, to the extreme lasciviousness of the queers, and the list goes on. For the most part, ‘Christians’ only answer this with ‘everything happens for a reason ‘ which is true, but the reasons are misconstrued to apply fault to God even though God did not commit the act nor did he sanction it. Now the standard for truth is the KJV 1611 so we will look to it for the answer to this question.

There are a few aspects to the answers for these questions as you’ll see throughout the article.

For form 1 of this question, all you have to do is read Genesis 3, and Romans 5. The very short version of the answer is Adam and Eve chose sin in the garden of Eden and because of that choice sin is now the nature of every man woman and child on the earth…

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Mark 7:21-22

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. Psalms 39:5

Sin is the FAULT of Adam and Eve choosing to follow Satan and reject God in the garden.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Romans 3:19

Mankind is the one at FAULT and guilty for the ‘bad things’ that happen, it’s in his heart (see Mark 7 above).

Now for the second form, though I don’t like it, it still needs a Bible(KJV 1611) answer.

The answer has three parts, first, once again God does not sanction or permit sin at all. God hates sin so much that even when his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, was on the cross dying for the sins of the world He didn’t stop pouring out His wrath. But let his Son suffer that wrath to make salvation by grace through faith a free gift to all who will receive Jesus Christ (John 1:12).

Secondly, the Bible shows that right now Satan has a certain degree of dominion on the earth. It won’t be for long. But…

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:4

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Ephesians 2:2-4

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

These references show that as of right now the devil is allowed a degree of dominion over lost men. This goes all the way back to Adam and Eve’s freewill choice to reject God and sin.

So lost men and women are walking around following ‘the prince of the power of the air,’ whether they recognize it or not.

The third aspect is that though God in his Holiness has given freewill to mankind (his creation), there is a Judgement day coming where God will judge every man according to the records God has kept.

Without going into the doctrinal teaching of the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10-11), the Great White Throne Judgement (Revelation 20:11-15), and the Judgement of Nations (Matthew 25:31-46) there are three Judgements coming. With these three everyone will be judged and give an account, lost, saved, old and new testament saints, people in the tribulation and the millennium.

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:11

Men reject the fact that there is a Judgement coming. And God is a righteous judge.

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Genesis 18:25

The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed. 1 Samuel 2:10

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. Psalms 9:8

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. Psalms 50:6

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Ecclesiastes 3:17

The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. Isaiah 3:13

And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. John 8:16

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Romans 2:16

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. 2 Timothy 4:1

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

God is not at FAULT for man’s decisions, but He will judge them.

It is a lie of the devil to see these things and to ascribe fault to God. A lie the devil is using now to damn people to hell, for he is the father of lies (John 8:44).

The fact that man has trouble on this Earth is nothing new, Job knew it in 1800 B.C.

‘Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.’ Job 5:7

And the devil has done a good job of blinding the minds of lost sinners by lying and making all of it God’s fault.

Until a man or woman has received Jesus Christ they are just following the devil straight to hell. However, ‘whosoever will ‘ receive Jesus Christ, when trouble comes Jesus Christ never leaves them (Heb 13:5) and has already prayed for them (John 17:20).

Better get the right view on things, it’s found only in the King James Bible 1611.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Answering Atheists

Im going to start a new series on answering the questions I’ve come across with atheists more generally from the Bible (KJV1611).

There are many questions an atheist is faced with that he will never be able to answer. Like, if the big bang is true how come only one explosion in the history of the universe produced harmony? where does conscience come from? Which came first the chicken or the egg? If it’s ‘survival of the fittest’ then why do we have a military force or police departments. You get the idea.

There are also some questions atheists bring up to ‘Christians’ (term used loosely ) that are hard but they do have answers. The problem is that most don’t study to get the answers. Now an atheist is a person who says that there is NO God at all

A = No

Theos = God

The truth is that they have no basis for this belief but they WANT to believe this fairytale. One of the questions I’ve come across on multiple occasions is:

Why did God have to kill his Son? If God is all powerful how come he didn’t just forgive everyone?’

The aim here is to try and make God seem unjust and debase Him to the status of a sadistic murderer, which of course God is nothing of the kind. Once again the majority don’t care enough about the truth to get the answer.

I’ll grant you that at first glance the question does seem to carry weight, mainly because they are throwing Gods power around and most people know God is ‘Omnipotent’ or ‘all powerful’… Furthermore, most people seem to think that because God is all powerful that He will do what men think He should do.

Men are obsessed with power if you don’t know that you need to get out more. Why did Trump run for the presidency after amassing the wealth he has? Why does the position of CEO appeal to most? Why do men spend hours in the gym dropping barbells on their chests or crumbling under the squat rack to get stronger? Why does the Catholic Church operate under the belief that the ‘end justifies the means’? Because men are obsessed with power.

There is a major flaw with the thinking of trying to put God into the thought process of God= power only. (hence the push for Superhumans in the marvel films, x-men, etc…)

Men (as a general whole) have forgotten that God is Holy.

In Websters 1828 dictionary ‘Holy’ is defined as

HO’LY, a.
Properly, whole, entire or perfect, in a moral sense. Hence, pure in heart, temper or dispositions; free from sin and sinful affections.

Man is unholy,

Jeremiah 17:9- The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Mark 7:21- For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Psalms 39:5- Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Psalms 116:11- I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Ephesians 2:1-3: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Romans 3:23- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Get the idea yet? Men are wicked hell-bound sinners and to try to make God out to be like any other man just exercising power willy-nilly is ridiculous.

God is all powerful AND Holy.

Leviticus 11:44: For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

1 Peter 1:15-16: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

When God exercises his power its in holiness.

Adam and Eve sinned against God in the garden of Eden requiring God to kill a Lamb (type of Jesus Christ Revelation 5:6,12) to cover Adam and Eve. This type carried on throughout the Old Testament, as men had to sacrifice a clean animal to have their sins covered, but the sin could not be taken away. (Hebrews 10:11-12) Because of Adam and Eve’s sin, not only had they lost fellowship with God, but they were destined for the devil’s hell (Matt 25:41). Mankind now, being born in the image of Adam and not God (Gen 5:1), every man that’s been born of an earthly man and woman has been doomed to hell from birth. In the Old Testament if you kept the law and sacrifices you made it (Ezekiel 18).

So God prophesied in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 that Jesus Christ would come and pay for the sins of the world…by his blood. No longer would man have to rely on the blood of an innocent animal. (Hebrews 10:4)

Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh…his blood was perfect blood. Though Mary was the vessel God chose to give himself ‘the form of a servant’ (Philippians 2:7), God didn’t have Adams curse on himself because Joseph (an earthly man under the curse of sin by Adams image Gen 5:1, Rom 5:19) was not involved in the conception. (And NO! Mary was not a perpetual virgin Matt 1:25)

1 Timothy 3:16: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Phillipians 2:5-7: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.

God put His Son through what a lost man would have to go through if he dies lost ‘having no hope, and without God in this world’ (Eph 2:12) to give men a way out of hell, because hell is not for men, it’s for the devil and his angels. (See Matt 25:41 again)

Why would God do that??

Because the Holiness of God requires a Holy sacrifice to atone for the sinful nature of mankind acquired by the sin against God of Adam and Eve in the garden; and allow men to get to heaven.

Hebrews 10:4-10: For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Without Jesus’ Holy sacrifice (John 10:18), man has no chance whatsoever, and is destined for hell. Man can’t attain to holiness without Jesus Christ stepping in. If Jesus had not gone through with Calvary then all of mankind would have the wrath of almighty God awaiting us after death

John 3:36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

2 Thessalonians 1:8: In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

BUT… Jesus Christ did go through with Calvary, he did die, was buried, and rose again the third day to satisfy the need for a holy sacrifice…

Romans 5:6-8: For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:12-15:That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

1 Corinthians 15:3-8 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

And there it is, the reason, why God almighty would sacrifice his only begotten Son…For your sins!

If God did let everyone off the hook and let everyone in heaven then he is not Holy, and is no better than you or I or the Antichrist sitting in Rome.

So instead of killing everyone off and sending them to hell, He made the way out by killing His Holy Son Jesus Christ IN YOUR PLACE!

There is much more going on at the cross of Calvary than this, but this answers the question of ‘Why God had to do that to His Son?’ The answer is God’s Holiness! You need the holiness of God if you want to make it. And only Jesus Christ can give it to you.

If a man rejects Jesus Christ, God will reject him(Matt 25:41-Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Yet if a man receives Jesus Christ (John 1:12) God will receive him(John 14:1-6)

Better make the right choice! Eternity will be too late.

John 17:17-Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is the truth.

John 14:6-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Hitchslaps? More like Hitchslips! Part 4

This is the fourth part of a blog series on the slips of a famous atheist and ‘religious’ critic Christopher Hitchens. In this part, we will be looking at another part of his famous quote from the book ‘God is not Great’.

The Bible may, indeed does, contain a warrant for trafficking in humans, for ethnic cleansing, for slavery, for bride-price, and for indiscriminate massacre, but we are not bound by any of it because it was put together by crude, uncultured human mammals.

This time we’ll look at ‘slavery’ in light of the KJV1611 and once again see what slip Hitchens actually made.

Here Hitchens makes the mistake of telling a half-truth, which is the most dangerous kind of mistake in dealing with the truth. The Bible does warrant ‘servants‘; menservants, maidservants, bondservants and hired servants are mentioned throughout the Bible.

The word ‘slave’ appears in its various forms two times in scripture as follows:

Jeremiah 2:14- Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled? (Emphasis mine)

Revelation 18:13-And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (Emphasis mine)

The Lord asks a question with the implied answer of ‘no’ in Jeremiah regarding Israel as a ‘homeborn slave.’ Israel was brought out of Egypt by the mighty hand of God after redeeming them by the Passover lamb (Deut 9:26).

And the Lord prophesies of Rome having slaves in the tribulation time frame in Revelation 18.

In regards to servants and the differences as mentioned in the Bible here is where the truth seeker is separated from the non-thinker. There are not only differences in the types of servant but also stipulations put on the master and the servant.

First off we need to make the distinction between the words ‘servant’ and ‘slave’.

Webster’s 1828 defines Slave as ‘SLAVE, n.
A person who is wholly subject to the will of another; one who has no will of his own, but whose person and services are wholly under the control of another. In the early state of the world, and to this day among some barbarous nations, prisoners of war are considered and treated as slaves. The slaves of modern times are more generally purchased, like horses and oxen.

And Servant as SERV’ANT, [L. servans, from servo, to keep or hold; properly one that waits, that is, stops, holds, attends, or one that is bound.]
1. A person, male or female, that attends another for the purpose of performing menial offices for him, or who is employed by another for such offices or for other labor, and is subject to his command. The word is correlative to master. Servant differs from slave, as the servant’s subjection to a master is voluntary, the slave’s is not. Every slave is a servant, but every servant is not a slave.
Servants are of various kinds; as household or domestic servants, menial servants; laborers, who are hired by the day, week or other term, and do not reside with their employers, or if they board in the same house, are employed abroad and not in the domestic services; apprentices, who are bound for a term of years to serve a master, for the purpose of learning his trade or occupation.
In a legal sense, stewards, factors, bailifs and other agents, are servants for the time they are employed in such character, as they act in subordination to others.
2. One in a state of subjection.

Webster’s has up to 8 definitions for ‘Servant’ but the first two is all we need. Now that we have defined the two words you’ll see the Bible is better in distinguishing the matter of servants further.

The first time Servant shows up in the Bible is in Gen 9:25- And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. (Emphasis mine)

Hams son Canaan is cursed to be a ‘servant of servants’ because Ham commits sodomy against his father Noah (Gen 9:25). This has to do with the racial distinctions of the peoples of the earth with Ham and his descendants settling in Africa. The black race is a servant race.

Now the Bible references a few different types of servants

1. Manservant- this is a male servant. Gen 12:16-And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. (Emphasis mine)

2. Maidservant-this is a female servant. Gen 12:16-And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. (Emphasis mine)

3. Bondservant- this is a servant bound to a master for various reasons. Different from a hired servant because the bondservant is not paid a wage. Leviticus 25:39-And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant: (Emphasis mine) The Lord also calls these servants by ‘bondman’ (Gen 44:33) and ‘bondwoman’ ( Gen 21:10).

4. Hired servant-this is a servant hired for a task or time period. Much like ’employees’ today. Deut 24:14-15 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee. (Emphasis mine)

Now that we’ve established the types of servants. Let’s look at the treatment of servants.

1. Freedom is given for abuse. Exodus 21:26-27

And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake. And if he smite out his manservant’s tooth, or his maidservant’s tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth’s sake.

2. Punishment for immediate death by the Master’s hand.

Exodus 21:12-13 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

3. Fair and just treatment.

Colossians 4:1-Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. (Emphasis mine)

Notice here the context says nothing about this giving being restricted to money…

4. Servants are not to be threatened.

Ephesians 6:9-And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. (Emphasis mine)

Along with the treatment of servants from masters the servants are told how to serve their masters.

1. Obedience to Masters in the flesh as to the Lord.

Colossians 3:22-25 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (Emphasis mine)

2. Rewards in heaven for the right service. (If saved)

Col 3:24- Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

So does the Bible ‘warrant’ slavery? No! It does warrant Servants. The Bible differentiates between man’s idea of ‘slavery’ and ‘servants’. The problem is that Hitchens left this open for the atheistic public to interpret in light of the ‘civil rights’ era. So once again God and his book have been misrepresented by a blind, lost, fool. (Psalms 14:1) and the masses slop it up because rather than accept the truth on a matter given from God they like darkness (John 3:19).

But wait there’s more!

GOD HIMSELF CAME DOWN AS A SERVANT!

Did you get that? God was manifest in the flesh ( 1 Tim 3:16) and took the form of a servant!…tell that to the pope!

Philippians 2:7-But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (Emphasis mine)

And furthermore…

Hebrews 2:8-But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. (Emphasis mine)

God himself, The Lord Jesus Christ, came down and made himself lower than the angels to work salvation. Jesus Christ knows what its like to be a servant, in the Garden of Gethsemane the Lord says…

Mark 14:36-And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

The Lord did not want to take your sins on himself (2 Cor 5:21, Luke 22:44) but he laid aside his own will and took them (Isaiah 53:6) paying for them with his own perfect blood…because it was The Father’s will! Talk about a Servant!

The truth is Hitchens stretched the truth and lied about what God said to fool people into rejecting the truth and landing themselves in hell.

Better get ahold of The Truth!

John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:17-Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is the truth.

Hitchslaps? More like Hitchslips Part 3

In this article we will be covering another part of the famed saying from a degenerate man who spouted his mouth off without checking the facts. As is standard operating procedure for the non thinker.

As you know by now, which if you’ve made it this far I commend you, this man is Christopher Hitchens. A famous so called critic of ‘religion’ and household name among atheists. Hitchens is famous for a quote from his book ‘God is not Great’ among others…here is the quote…

The Bible may, indeed does, contain a warrant for trafficking in humans, for ethnic cleansing, for slavery, for bride-price, and for indiscriminate massacre, but we are not bound by any of it because it was put together by crude, uncultured human mammals.

In the last two articles we’ve covered the ‘crude, uncultured human mammals’ and the ‘warrant for trafficking in humans’. This time we’ll cover both ‘ethnic cleansing’ and ‘indiscriminate massacre’ since they are virtually the same thing.

Once again, The Bible (KJV1611) is the standard by which he will be judged. So his statements will be judged by it here as well. What you’ll find is that he lied about God, about what the Bible says, and fooled a bunch of sinners with no light or truth into thinking they came from a monkey.

The term ‘ethnic’ never shows up in the Bible, nor does ‘massacre’ so Hitchens apparently operates like the news media in twisting words to hide the truth.

Ethnic Cleansing is defined as ‘the mass expulsion or killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society.

Indiscriminate: done at random or without careful judgment.

And Massacre: an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of people.

So the accusation is that God warrants random massacre of anyone He feels like…this is absolutely ridiculous and completely unfounded. No one who has cared enough to look at the evidence has found this to be true there is absolutely no ‘warrant’ for this in scripture.

Every time a group of people is wiped out there is a reason. God never warrants the killing of anyone for no reason.

Here are the facts:

1. The Flood- Gen 6:1-8

The first mass killing has to do with God’s creation rebelling against him. After Adam and Eve fall in the garden of Eden mankind continues to degenerate and devolve to the point that Gen 6:5 says And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. God calls a man named Noah to build an ark to survive the flood. Further down the passage the Lord says And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. Man having the gift of freewill from his Creator, God now has to wipe out all but eight people and the pairs of animals in the ark because of mans freewill choice to go against God. So God drowns out mankind literally, and starts over with eight people. The fact that Noah found grace in God’s eyes shows that the majority of men rejected God. But they had the choice… Because Noah made the right choice.

2. Sodom and Gomorrah- Gen 19

Gen 19- Here God brings judgement on cities full of sodomites. A sin God hates…under the law Lev 20:13- If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them…and under grace in the New Testament Rom 1:20-31. They knew what was right because God told them that from Adam and Eve on they were to be ‘male and female’ (Gen 1:27, 2:23-24) they chose to commit sodomy and be perverts and God wiped them out.

3. Inhabitants of promised Land

In Leviticus 18 the whole passage deals with specific sexual abominations the children of Israel are not to commit. Ranging from interfamily relations, child sacrifice to Molech, and beastiality. God tells the nation of Israel not to do any of that (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; Lev 18:27)

When the children of Israel enter in the land of Canaan and begin wiping out the inhabitants it’s because of the inhabitants freewill choice to reject how God intended those things to go (Gen 2:23-24: And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.)

4. Second Advent

The next time the Lord is going to wipe people out is when Jesus Christ comes back to get what’s rightfully His. Rev 19:11-21 the Lord is going to come back and stomp his enemies out like a winepress. So much that the blood runs as high as the horses bridles. He’s coming back soon and will set up a kingdom in Israel with the capital being Jerusalem. That land, and the Jews will finally know peace when their rightful King sits on David’s throne. After a righteous war waged on God’s enemies for rejecting His Son Jesus Christ and his revealed truth in the KJV of 1611

Rev 19:11-And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

That’s the key…when God makes war it’s in righteousness and lost men can’t understand that….

In every single solitary case given here, ( and there are more) God has never nor will He ever ‘indiscriminately massacre’ anyone. Hitchens has been proven a liar again. Everytime God kills it’s for a perfect reason. God has told man what is expected of him in every time period and man just rejects it. When man rejects God and his revealed truth God, the judgement of God awaits him. At times, God has wiped out a large group of people who chose to go against what God said…

Unregenerate men don’t like to deal with such a God. But you’d better deal with God now before you step into eternity. God is long-suffering, but he is also Holy and you aren’t. God, who judges and makes war righteously, made a way out of the judgement for lost sinners…Hell. Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16), came down to earth, lived perfect, was killed and went to hell for your sins and rose again the third day ( 1 Cor 15:1-7) to offer those who will receive him by faith eternal life for free (John 1:12-13) so you can escape the holy and righteous judgement of God, hell fire,( John 3:36) and spend an eternity with him in heaven. Your choicechoose wisely. Because as the evidence states, if you reject God and His Son Jesus Christ, as Hitchens and many others do, holy and righteous judgement awaits…

Better deal with the truth and stop listening to fairy tales…

John 17:17-Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 14:6-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Hitchslaps? more like Hitchslips Part 2

This is the second installment of a series of blogs on the blunders of the famed Christopher Hitchens. Seen as an authority for atheism and a religious critic, he made some grave mistakes in speaking that show he never cared for the truth nor cared about the people he was vomiting his nonsense to all over the world.

We’ve looked at his lies concerning the ‘crude and uncultured human mammals’ of the Old Testament in the last post this time I’ll cover another part of his well known quote from his book ‘God is Not Great.’ here is the quote

The Bible may, indeed does, contain a warrant for trafficking in humans, for ethnic cleansing, for slavery, for bride-price, and for indiscriminate massacre, but we are not bound by any of it because it was put together by crude, uncultured human mammals.

This week we are looking at the beginning, ‘The Bible may, indeed does contain a warrant for trafficking in humans.’ ….

Here hitchens (a supposed authority and religious critic) slips again in leaving this open for the reader to interpret. If he means that humans are the ones doing the trafficking, well what natural born man doesn’t know that we’ve done that for the last 6,000+ years. You go to work and get stuck in traffic, they are called traffic lights for a reason….If he means that humans are sold for sexual slavery (as is the case when using the phrase trafficking in humans, human trafficking is defined as the illegal practice of procuring or trading in human beings for the purpose of prostitution, forced labor, or other forms of exploitation.)
he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

The word ‘traffick’ is defined by Webster’s 1828 dictionary as ‘trade, commerce, either by barter or by buying and selling’

The Bible (there is only one remember? The KJV1611) records the word traffick five times and traffickers once for a total of six times between the two.

1. GEN 42:34 And bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that ye are no spies, but that ye are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in the land. (Emphasis mine)

Notice the Lord here records the fact the Joseph’s family members will be able to ‘traffick in the land.’ that is they will be able to buy and sell or trade for goods, including the food needed to survive the famine occuring during the time. Of which famine Joseph is the overseer of the food supply.

2. 1 Kings 10:14-15

14. Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of

15. Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country. (Emphasis mine)

Here it is plain to see the Lord records the ‘traffick of the spice merchants,’ which tells you exactly what was trafficked- spices…

3. Ezek 17:4 He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. (Emphasis mine)

Here the Lord is giving a parable to the house of Israel of a great eagle who takes the top of the young twigs of a cedar tree and carries them to a ‘land of traffick’ the indication being a port city where a great deal of trading is done.

4. Ezek 28:5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: (emphasis mine)

It is plain here that the Lord is talking to the prince of Tyrus about his riches being increased by his ‘traffick’ no other exposition needed that was probably a waste of time to even say that much about the text…

5. Ezek 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. (Emphasis mine)

Here the Lord is dealing directly with the devil and will bring judgement on him for the ‘iniquity of thy traffick’…it’s plain to see from the context of the chapter that this trafficking is in goods as seen in verse 16

16.By the multitude of the merchandise they have filled the midst of the with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast the out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, o covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (emphasis mine)

The word ‘traffickers’ occurs once in Isaiah 23:8

who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth? (Emphasis mine)

It’s clear that the sexual slavery hitchens tried to say the Bible warrants is nowhere to be found. In fact the Lord Jesus Christ himself said that ‘Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart’ Matt 5:27-28 the Lord takes it a step further on saying looking and lusting is the same as the act that you’re commanded not to do…

In Exodus 20:14 God said

‘Thou shalt not commit adultery.’

Now that we’ve dealt with the occurrences of ‘traffick’ and ‘traffickers’ we will deal with the passage an atheist who has done his homework will bring up…I know because a family member brought this up to me… The passage is Num 31:18

But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

Admittedly, if you pull the one verse out of it’s context you very slightly might be able to read something degenerate into the text…but you would have to read it into the text. The context is war with the midianites who, with the guidance of baalam, infiltrated the camp of Israel and committed whoredoms with the children of Israel in worship to Baal.

Vs16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord.

This is found in Num 25:1-9. After this occurs the Lord passes judgment on the Midianites and sends the Israelites to war with them and wipe them out except the ‘women children who have not know man by lying with them’ if you’re degenerate, you assume along with hitchslips that this is sexual, but it’s not. You know that from the two verses above (Matt 5:28, Ex. 20:14) and also in

Ex 34:12-16

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.

Deut 7:2-4

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

On another note adultery with the midianites was what they got in trouble for in the first place. The truth is these women children who have not known men become maidservants as part of the ‘spoils’ ,if you will, of a conquered people. Under the law the Israelites are commanded to take care of their servants (Ex 21). Nowhere under any circumstances are they told to ‘traffick’ them…hitchens and every other degenerate read that into the text while disregarding every other commandment from God to not commit adultery. Nowhere in the Bible is human trafficking warranted at all…

Once again hitchens doesn’t slap he slips. Not only does he slip he doesn’t even check the material he was spouting off about. But the mass of non-thinkers gobble it up like a Thanksgiving day turkey. People don’t want to believe God and his Son Jesus Christ because that means what the Bible says about where we came from, where we are going, what we are, and what our purpose here on Earth is would all be true…

Guess what! The truth is the truth no matter what anybody says… it doesn’t care if you want to believe it or not, the truth is ‘so’ and more people need the truth…

John 17:17-Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

To be continued…

Hitchslaps? More like Hitchslips!

Christopher hitchens is a household name among atheists today especially after his death in 2011. Lauded as a ‘religious critic’ most atheists have adopted one or more of his arguments to validate their foolishness (PS. 14:1)

Because of the sarcasm of a fool, the non-thinkers have coined a term for when any atheist ‘destroys’ a Bible believers argument. That term is a ‘hitchslap’

A hitchslap is ‘the process of utterly obliterating an opponent’s entire (usually religious or political) argument, usually in one or more succinct or terse statements, orally or in writing; employed almost exclusively by Christopher Hitchens.’

Many look at hitchens as a validator of atheism. The problem is that no one bothered to think about what he was saying, or rather what he was not saying. As usual you hear the crowd roar or comment sections and web articles blow up with pro atheist adulation when given an excuse (‘any excuse will do…’) to throw God out completely with no factual base to do so.

This is not necessarily an apologetics blog series, but I’ve run into this with my own family and lost folks who parrot these thought trains without even batting an eye. What I’ll endeavor to do is cover one ‘hitchslip’ per post from the Bible believing standpoint. With that said there is only one Bible the King James 1611, the rest are posers.

Understand though that these ‘hitchslips’ are not specific to hitchens, most atheists have adopted these cute little arguments and actually think they have a leg to stand on.

The goal here is to find out ‘what is so and what aint’ you’ll be surprised how many time hitchens slips instead of slaps….

Number 1 –from his book ‘God is not great’

“The Bible may, indeed does, contain a warrant for trafficking in humans, for ethnic cleansing, for slavery, for bride-price, and for indiscriminate massacre, but we are not bound by any of it because it was put together by crude, uncultured human mammals. It goes without saying that none of the gruesome, disordered events in Exodus ever took place”

Here hitchens uses the fairytale of evolution to dupe the non thinker into atheism. He basically says you don’t have to listen to anything in the Bible because it’s put together by ‘crude, uncultured human mammals.’ No evidence given here…for ‘crude and uncultured…’

The problem is that the Bible record of life in the Old testament is very sophisticated…

Gen 4:22-And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

Not 5 chapters into the Bible and you have an ‘instructor of every artificer in brass’ Tubalcain is a metallurgist. I don’t know where hitchslip got his info but brass is an alloy of copper and zinc both of which are found in the earth and worked with to make brass. So not only is Tubalcain teaching others as artificers, but also how to make brass. ….’crude’ eh?

Gen 11-Tower of Babel

Seven chapters later you have a group of people who get together and begin making brick and mortar to make a city and start building the tower of babel. They are substituting stone and pitch…The Lord has to step in and confound the language because according to 11:6 ‘…and now nothing will be restrained from them…’ God recognizes man’s ability to do whatever he imagines…I mean but ya know they’re crude and uncultured…

1 Kings 7:44-45-Casting metal.

Here King Solomon is in the process of constructing the Tabernacle and Hiram casts all of the utensils and furniture not overlaid with gold in the clay ground near succoth. He’s not carving…he’s casting them! but they were ‘crude’ were they?

Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Job (which is the first book chronologically in the Bible ) knows the earth isn’t resting on a turtle shell, or being held up by atlas…it’s hung in space by God upon ‘nothing’

There are many more examples of the exact OPPOSITE of what hitchens said. For instance Moses who wrote the first five books of the Bible was raised and trained in Egypt by Pharaoh’s daughter. The reason this is important is the Egyptians are credited with the building of the pyramids, the first of which dated to around 2630 B.C. (whether they did or not is another question, but they are credited with it). Moses leads the Jews out of Egypt in about 1491 B.C. thats over 1,100 years later…With the engineering proficiency and accuracy of the pyramids how can any rational person call him ‘crude and uncultured human mammals.’ hitchens must not have cared enough to check what he was vomiting all over the world. Now atheists all over the world, and maybe some of your family members, or friends, have fallen for this garbage.

This is the tip of the iceberg and only deals with one aspect of the statement. To cite all of the evidence would need a volume of it’s own. In the coming weeks we’ll go over more of these inconsistencies.

People need to be given the truth…

John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:17 ‘Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth’
